President’s Message
Hello, and welcome to the CJMEA website. The Central Jersey Music Educators Association Board is dedicated to serving our members throughout our region and providing their students with authentic musical experiences. Throughout any given year, CJMEA offers meaningful professional development opportunities, regions ensembles, honors performance groups, and an opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best musicians and educators in the field. We sincerely hope you will consider attending our professional development offerings or sending your students to participate in one of our many events. It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve as CJMEA President for such amazing educators and I look forward to being able to work with you all.

Membership is open to current and retired music educators as well as college students studying to become music educators. We are an affiliate of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). A NAfME membership gives you a concurrent membership in your local association.
Please remember to renew your membership annually. An active membership card is required to participate in professional development or to send students to region auditions.
